The Hurdy-Gurdy Man

Description

Painting shows a rainy evening on a street in Boston, Mass. at the turn of the century.  The man playing the street instrument for the children is nicknamed the Hurdy-Gurdy Man.  The buildings and the street are historically accurate, taken from a black and white public domain photograph.  The colors and figured I added myself, from that same period.
